What is Partnership?

Partnership is part of the Biblical model for giving. It started with Jesus in Luke 8 where the women impacted by the ministry didn’t just give once: they partnered with him to continually fund the ministry that had so deeply transformed their lives, in the hopes of recreating those results in more lives. It continues with Peter in the book of acts, who forsook fishing to be continually given to the Apostolic work set before him. He had partners selling land and giving it to his ministry so that he and the other Apostles could spread the Gospel. Finally, the churches that Paul founded became his partners, sending him wages so that he could plant new churches in new cities.

What does it mean to partner?

Partnership is more than giving: you are becoming a co-laborer in the harvest. Just like an investor puts money into a business and receives dividends so a partner becomes a spiritual shareholder in God’s harvest. Partners are fellow-laborers who are exchanging their time and labor for funds to invest into the work of the ministry. Paul taught us this when he said,

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again

unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

When you invest your time and labor to make money, then invest that money into a partnership, whatever fruit that ministry bears is placed on your account. It is a pleasing and acceptable sacrifice in the eyes of God.

God’s Model of Giving.

God has provided three streams of giving: the offering, the tithe, and partnership. The offering is a one-time seed into a field which will inevitably be reaped. The tithe is ten percent of your income invested in the local ministry (which is the Biblical storehouse) to spiritually feed your family in times of famine or distress. The partnership is buying into a foreign field (be that field America or the nations) to become a reaper of those fruits.

Who should partner?

Ideally, the people who have been impacted by our ministry are the best candidates for partnership. If the Lord has used our services to impact you, and you have a burning desire to see that happen for someone else, consider joining us with a monthly donation. However, anyone that wants to see Revival in America and believes our ministry is good ground is a candidate.
